Science Lab Coordinators

We are excited to introduce your new PTO-funded Science Lab Co-Coordinators: Emily Uthe, Lindsay Walls, and Jen Warren!

Our mission for second semester is to bring science to life by leading hands-on experiments that directly reinforce what your children are learning in the classroom. In addition to curriculum-based labs, we are thrilled to introduce special STEM Days to spark even more creativity and discovery! The new and improved CCES Science Lab will become part of your child's specials schedule, and we will see your students in the lab more than ever before! We will continue to welcome parent volunteers into our classes to join in the fun, so please see the information below on how to sign up.

A few things to note about our new procedures:

The time slot on the SignUp Genius is the time the children will be in the lab classroom. Please arrive up to 15 minutes early to allow time to look over your lab materials for the day.
Lab instructions will be simple and straightforward - so you will be able to quickly familiarize yourself with what to do when you arrive at the lab.
If you are unable to make your scheduled lab time, it is critical that the class still has support. You are responsible for finding a replacement (another approved CCES volunteer or parent) for your time slot. We understand emergencies happen, and we appreciate your support in helping to fill your spot.
Please be aware that dates and times on our schedule are subject to change when the school calendar or schedule changes. We will update you as soon as we know about changes.
